CSS Colors
CSS colors can be expressed as keywords, hex, rgb/rgba, hsl/hsla, hwb and currentColor. This hub lists the notations and common named colors.
Color Formats
| CSS Colors | Description |
|---|---|
Hex #rrggbb | Hexadecimal RGB, e.g. #ff0000 is red. |
rgb()/rgba() | Red/green/blue with optional alpha. |
hsl()/hsla() | Hue/saturation/lightness with optional alpha. |
hwb() | Hue/whiteness/blackness notation. |
currentColor | Uses the element's current color value. |
transparent | Fully transparent (alpha 0). |
