❓ FAQ
Qh6 is the lowest heading level — can I go deeper?
AHTML headings stop at h6; there is no h7. For deeper content, use nested lists,
<section> with indentation, or restructure to reduce depth.QDoes any page really need h6?
ARarely — it appears in very long technical documentation and statutes. Most pages are fine with h1-h4. Filling all six levels for its own sake is pointless; hierarchy should reflect the actual content structure.
QIs h6 being smaller than body text normal?
AYes. The browser default stylesheet sets h6 below body text size (about 0.67em, a legacy setting). Real projects usually reset the heading scale with CSS so headings are never smaller than body text.
