QDo variables in a `case` pattern get bound to values?
AYes. For example, `case (0, y)` binds `y` to the value at the matched position. Beware: if `y` is an existing variable in the outer scope, it is reassigned when matched, with a risk of accidental overwriting.
QCan I use `or` to combine conditions in a `case`?
ANo. Patterns are combined with the `|` symbol, as in `case 1 | 2:`. `or` is a boolean operator and does not have that meaning in pattern syntax.
QWhen several `case`s match, which one runs?
ATop to bottom, only the first `case` that matches runs; once it executes, the whole `match` statement ends and later `case`s are not checked.
