Array.toString() Convert an array to a string
toString returns all elements joined by commas — equivalent to join(','). Nested arrays are flattened, and null / undefined become empty strings.

| ES version | ES1 (1997) |
📝 Syntax
array.toString();
Returns:A comma-separated string.
Mutates the original:No (returns a new value)
▶ Example
Edit the code, press Run, and see the result in the output panel:
Output:
apple,banana,orange
true
1,2,3,4
1,,,4
ℹ️ info toString is usually called implicitly: "items: " + [1,2] yields "items: 1,2".
💡 Tip Use join(" | ") for a custom glue; use JSON.stringify to preserve nesting.
